Hej!
My name is Yvonne Kennedy, I am British, originally from London, and I will be at your school on Thursday 18th October during the development talks. I will be displaying and selling Usborne Children’s English Books.
I have been involved with children’s literature for the past six years and have worked closely with many publication houses. I now live in Sweden and work exclusively with Usborne books. With over 2500 books in the current catalogue the range starts at pre-school level up to Young Adult. There is also an exciting selection of fictional books, encylopedias, and open-out flap books. The non-fictional books encompass world history, art, geography, space, religion, maths, science and many more subject areas.
Usborne has an award winning Reading Programme, which is a collection of over 300 reading books graded into seven levels covering various topics. Beautifully produced with lively writing and fabulous illustrations, the books are designed to capture the imagination and build the confidence of beginner readers and to motivate and inspire children who find reading dull. Also available are a range of dictionaries, thesauruses and phonic books that aid children learning to read and understand the English language.

All orders must be placed with me no later than WEDNESDAY 3RD OCTOBER. Payments can be made by swish (0709 788790), or with credit card or cash on the day. Please do not place direct orders I will place one order from the school.

When the event has finished, I will add up the sales and a commission in free books will be given to the school. So your child/children will benefit from many new English Usborne books, which will be available to them in the library and classroom! I am coordinating this event with your library teacher Fleur Doornberg-Puglisi.
