Yellow Box and Board Games

On Monday morning, January 28th, we will have the Yellow Box out from 8.15 until about 9.30. Students (and parents) are welcome to pop up to the library and take a look at the books. If there is anything you like, you can take the withdrawn book home and read it as many times for as long as you want! If you are not able to come tomorrow, don’t worry, we will have another Yellow Box opportunity on Friday, February 8th (from 14.30 – 15.00).

We had a great time playing board games last Friday. We had three games of chess going, and we had a great mix of students playing Tsuro. It was so much fun that we decided to have a monthly board game session! I will lead, and play, Settlers of Catan with whoever wants to join in. Students can also bring their own board games, of course. Everyone is invited, but if you’re child is in K – 2, please be sure to accompany them. You’re welcome to join in the games too!

The dates for the board game afternoons, always on Fridays from 14.30 – 15.30, are the following. Mark your calendars!

February 22nd

March 22nd

April 26th

May 24th

Looking forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me (fleur.doornberg-puglisi@isgr.se).

Enjoy this beautifully snowy day!
