Today we had Justin D’Ath (ask your child about the history of his name!) and Hanna Olausson as our experts for our writing and illustration workshops. Our drama teacher Beth worked with the classes again, adding scenes to the story of The Selfish Giant. It was so fun & inspiring! In the afternoon we welcomed Sandy Brown-Lindstedt to our library. She had a story, a game and a song to share with us. So much joy!
Here follow a few jewels of our third day of the ISGR Reading Festival.
Tomorrow, Justin, Hanna and Beth will be at school again leading their workshops. After school, there will be the Read-A-Thon in the library. We hope to see lots of students participating. The library will be an oasis of silence and (written) stories. If you visit the library for a different reason, please respect that. Thank you!
On Friday, we will have book presentations during the school day, and of course our Book Fair starting at 14.30 in the library. If your child is in PAL, please remember that they’d need to come with you to the Book Fair. It runs until 16.00. Yvonne with Usborne Books will be there, and Mia will be selling Swedish books. And of course our visiting authors are available for Meet & Greet! They will be selling & signing their books!
