Next week, we will prepare for the International Children’s Book Day (April 2nd) during our library lessons. We will explore this year’s theme, “Books slow us down.” Students think about how books can slow us down and why this might be important. The week of ICBD, we will celebrate by playing Musical Chairs! Every time the music stops, we sit down and read the book that we find under the chair for a few minutes. A great way to try new books… and slow down!
Last week, the air ventilation pipes have been put in. There’s still some work that needs to be done, but they will try to do that when the library is not in use. Thank you for your patience!
On Thursday, March 28th, the library will be closed after school as the space will be used for a meeting run by Moragh that afternoon. Please think about alternatives if your child is used to spending his/her time in the library after school on Thursdays.
Our board game session last Friday didn’t take place due to illness. We will be playing board games on Friday, March 29th instead! Hope to see many of you there!
On Saturday, April 6th, Åsa Bergström & Johanna Glembo are visiting the Guldheden Biblioteket at Dr. Fries Torget, from 11.00 – 12.00. They wrote and illustrated “David drömmer om Dracula”. Stop by and ask them about their book!
Happy Reading!
