We’ve got a very busy week ahead of us!
After-school Activities in the Library:
Monday: Sustainable Development Goal Book Club Session #1: No Poverty (Nine students have already signed up!)
Tuesday: T-shirt to Bag workshop by PYP 5 students Jeev, Marielle and Trisha. (Free to attend, max. 20 students).
Wednesday: Clay workshop by PYP 3 students Momo, Maya, Grace, Elizabeth, Elea and helpers. (Ask them for details. Max. 15 students can attend.)
Friday: Library Club Board Games!
ISGR Summer Reading Challenge:
The students would like to have some sort of library party (details to be confirmed) to celebrate completing the Summer Reading Challenge. All students who return their completed form, are invited to the library party which will take place in August. Students can still pick up a form from the library this week, if they want. The Summer Reading Challenge is open to students, teachers and parents!
Scholastic Book Sale:
We have now collected 2000 SEK of rewards, which means we can purchase many books for in the library. We’ll be able to replace worn copies of series that are well-read, buy recently published series, as well as old stand-alone classic novels. Thanks to you! If you haven’t had the chance yet to browse the books, follow this link. The last day to order is Sunday, May 26th.
Last Library Lesson:
If your child’s library lesson is on Thursdays or Fridays, it means that next week (wk 21) is the last library lesson for your child! So please return all library books then!
If your child’s library lesson is on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays, it means that in week 22, it will be the last lesson to check out books – and in week 23, they will be returning all library books.
There will be no library lessons in week 24, due to the yearly inventory and maintenance, but we will be open if you need to return overdue library books.
